Brouhahas of the past

First Post
Dragon 300's vileness is by far not the first teacup storm to hit the D&D online community, and I was thinking of whether a "greatest hits and memories" of such much ados about not much would provide a little perspective.

Ones that spring to mind:

Pronouns of more than one gender ending up in the core books.
Concerns and disagreements about the implementation of rangers.

Any other classics?

So long as we just stick to listing the topics and not discussing them...or at least getting into heated arguments, but really if you want to re-open the discussion, opening another thread would be better than the complete chaos you'd be unleashing here.

Half-orcs got the shaft.
Clerics are overpowered

No, I don't want to re-open discussion. You're ascribing ulterior motives to me that aren't there. I think this thread was bound for obscurity until you bumped it, too, although I can see your concerns.

Rounser, you're ascribing ulterior motives to me, now. I had no concerns that you were trying to re-open old wounds. I just wanted to make sure no one else decided to re-open those discussions.

Lest I dare broach these words of evil I now speak:

Greyhawk Old vs. New
WotC Management Issues
Prices of RPG products
Alignment and its place in D&D

------------------------------

The funny part is, some of these issues you can predict just looking at them (The Greyhawk thing is one - this rift had begun as early as 15 years ago) - but some get quite heated quite by surprise! (such as the viability of Orcs and Rangers)

The pantheon

Heh, even worse: The people who didn't get the idea of the pantheon, and started to spawn their opinion of them in a seperate thread (of course, this was when the Pantheon didn't have its own thread yet)
