My ADSL modem recently fried itself, so I've been forced back to dialup for at least the next week. Just in time for the EN World server upgrade.
To add insult to injury, the dialup modem (no-name 56kbps unit with a Conexant HCF chipset) has now started crashing XP. The BSOD lists winacusb.sys as the offending driver. The file is version 952.172.56.0, date stamp 14 Feb 2002.
Is there an updated version of this driver anywhere for download? Anything else I can do to stop the crashes (besides getting back on ADSL)?
