Plot
Giles returns with a possible solution to Spike's trigger.
Thoughts...
An excellent episode overall. I really enjoyed the mirroring of Spike and Wood and how each man was influenced by his mother. Very well done in my opinion.
I also found Buffy's increasing emotional attachment to Spike also quite interesting. She seems to turn a blind eye to Spike and as Anya put it "Gives him a 'Get Out of Jail Card' for free. Her current path seems to be putting herself on a collision with eveybody else as she has seemingly forgotten about them and focused solely on Spike.
This was very much a Buffy/Giles/Spike/Wood episode with little involvement from anyone else.
Best line from Andrew: "Willow, there's a guy named Fred on the phone from L.A. He sounds kind of infemminate."
Good tie in with Angel as well - although I find it hard to beleive that NO ONE seems to be aware of what's going on in L.A. at this time.
Still I give the episode 9/10.
