D&D 5E Building a Druid Grove?

Wow, thanks a lot guys, those are certainly some interesting things for me to try out and discuss with my DM.
I'd not considered the Lair effects and other powers =)

Ok, so to everyone who has given me input, here's the rough sketch I've done for the Druid grove.

My character is a worshipper of Mielikki thus there's a shrine featured there.
For the defenses, you can see thorned bushes as well as trees with vines ready to entangle

Dire creatures fill the area as well as Nixies and otter in the pond.

I've drawn in two treants and am trying to sneak in an Earth Elemental (half buried and requiring a perception check to notice) if my DM allows.

Also featuring goodberry bushes and a herb garden since I have a rogue member who wants to make use of Deadly Nightshade and Wolfsbane :p

Thanks for all your help and advice :)

That's a COOL drawing! Looks like your grove is well underway!

I've been contemplating adding a druid grove encounter to an adventure I'm sketching out to follow Phandelver, and I think I'll steal some of the ideas presented here.

Some other mechanical effects you might want to think about:

The entangle spell is "powered up". Maybe disadvantage on the save, maybe double in size, maybe d4 damage if caught in it.
Resistance necrotic for all within it.
SOmething like Divine favor for all "wild" creatures in the grove. Your treants and boars should do an extra d4 nature (or something) damage.
A physical "second wind" a wind that blows through and heals all fey (or natural or something) creatures that heals 1d8+ druid level.
All enemies are vulnerable to natural attacks (bite, claw, etc.) and wooden attacks (staff, club, shileagh (sp))
