Can you use a Fabricate spell to turn the target of a Flesh to Stone spell into a stone block? If not can a Polymorph Any Object spell be used to perminently turn a Flesh to Stone victim into a stone block of similar size?

I don't see why you can't use Fabircate to make them a stone block. When a Flesh to Stone spell is cast, the victim becomes a statue.

But if someone casts Stone to Flesh on the block, you get a block of flesh. Ew...

"The subject, along with all its carried gear, turns into a mindless, inert statue"

It's rock, you can turn it into a stone block.

"If the statue resulting from this spell is broken or damaged, the subject (If ever returned to its original state) has similar damage or deformities"

L.O.

I would think not. Only if they turn back.

Oh, and if you cast stone to flesh on a rock, you get a lump of flesh anyway.

I wonder if it's edible?

That would be an extra nasty way of getting rid of someone. They aren't technically dead yet, so true ressurection doesn't work, and they aren't going on to their afterlife, but they might as well be dead because a flesh-to-stone would kill them instantly. Although, on the other hand, at that point they could probably be true ress'd.

Should be edible. Stone to flesh is much fun.

How do you calculate damage for being misshapen? How much shaping is required for death or CDG-like saves?

So if you turn a troll to stone and then misshape it and turn it back into a troll, does it regen?

Any chance of shaping the stone block back into a statue and successfully transmuting it into flesh?

That kind of situation makes for house rules - lots & lots of house rules....

Troll FtS -> Shape Stone/Fabricate into block -> StF? Troll regens. However, all limbs are missing (including head) so it's Max(five 3d6 minutes rolls) before it's combat-capable again.

Natural Shapeshifter, same sequence: After StF, can revert to normal form as a free action.

Non-Regen, same sequece: Target is uninjured (just horribly, horribly misshapen - unable to act, except with abilities that don't require limbs, mouths, eyes, ears, et cetera) but has no mouth to breath, and so will follow the suffocation rules until restored. Without restoration, death is eventually assured.

Fabricate or Shape Stone to return block to statue for "safe" restoration:
Dual DC 20 Knoweledge(Biology/Anatomy, as appropriet) to know the right shape and DC 20 Craft(Stonemasonry or similar) to form the correct shape.
