Buildings in N.O.W.

I'm totally jumping the gun here, but I thought I'd throw this out.

O.L.D. has Strongholds
N.E.W. has Starships
N.O.W. has ???

I'd suggest Hangouts, Headquarters, or Safehouses. Exactly which you had would kind of match the campaign. After all, what good show didn't have someplace the characters could relax and not get shot at, well, usually avoided getting shot at.

Just a few examples, From Walker Texas Ranger, I'd nominate CD's Bar & Grill.
Indiana Jones, his Classroom and office at Barnett College, or earlier at Marshall College. (Apparently he had connections with the University of Chicago, but it was the other two that he taught at.)
Almost any crime drama (C.S.I., N.C.I.S., Bones, etc) has the lab.
M.A.S.H. had the 4077th M.A.S.H. unit. (Except when the GM decided to bug out and move it while the PCs were off on an escapade.)

Ok, so I might be reaching a little, but let's face it, those shows were basically whatever the writers thought up that week.

Anyhow, I'm sure the creative folks here can come up with hundreds of ideas on the subject.
And remember, have fun. :]

That's certainly an idea. It's strongholds with another name, though.

The plan is vehicles. All those 80s super vehicles - KITT, Airwolf, Streethawk, even the Batmobile. A touch of Car Wars - build your own vehicle, give it weapons, armour, high-tech stuff, a turbo-boost, stealth mode.

cool

I was just wondering what it would be.
Tricked out super rides does sound totally cool though. B-)
Besides, now that I think about it, there really were a whole lot of special vehicles in those action shows, even the General Lee from Dukes of Hazard was more than your average sedan.

Thanks for the reply.

Although it's kind of moot now, in my earlier post I was trying to remember enough about the old rerun shows, and I think I missed the ball on the Mash one. I was thinking of the out of camp excursions as being the "adventures", but most of theirs were in camp. After giving a couple of seconds of extra thought, it wouldn't be the whole camp, rather it was "The Swamp". Hey, it's where they kept their still and stash of porn, so it must be that.
