I'm clueless...what was all the 'raiding' about??

In SJG's case, one of the authors of GURPS: Cyberpunk was formerly active in the hacker community, and the Secret Service apparently misconstrued the sourcebook as some kind of computer crime manual. They raided SJG and seized a lot of the company's computer equipment, as well as copies of the sourcebook. I don't believe any charges were ever filed. SJG sued the Secret Service and won.

Tri-Tac were raided shortly after Gen Con 1994, where they sold promotional Bureau 13 ID cards in tasteful orange and pink. Apparently somebody at the FBI decided this was a threat to national security. The remaining badges were seized, no charges were filed.

I sit corrected.

I guess my memory came from having heard about the Tri Tac episode before the SJG episode.

Aah well.

Anyway, I still think it would be seventeen different kinds of cool for them to do d20 versions of Fringeworthy and Bureau 13. Stargate is not a suitable replacement for FW although Delta Green does provide me with my Bureau 13 fix. In fact, whenever I run a d20 Cthulu game, the players are often members of Bureau 13.
