I am afraid it is way out of my budget for this year. I will make an effort to make it next year, but it either Burning Man or GenCon, not both.

Fair enough, it certainly isn't cheap to go. Especially if you have a long trip to make- you can get by with picking up a lot of supplies in Reno if you're coming from the west, but I don't know if other directions have appropriate spots as close by.

Maybe next year, then! Enjoy your GenCon!

Oh yeah. I've had a lot of naughty fun at Burning Man over the years.

the Jester gave me a ticket for this year's event so I'll be going!

I'm unsure what to expect, but that's part of the fun.

Some background - roughly 2 years ago, I met the Jester and his gaming group through these very forums. It turned out that he lived right down the street from me. I've been playing with them since then and having a great time. I've gained a great bunch of friends.

Now I'll be going to Burning Man with them and experiencing many new things, I'm sure.
