Not to sound insulting, but it's pretty self-explanatory, really.

As a consumer, I have no problem with the policy whatsoever.

The policy says you cannot link to another publisher, but, if I read it correctly, there's nothing preventing a publisher from saying where a product is sold.

So, if you want to say that your product that's available at rpgnow, say so. Just don't link there.

If I wants your product, I can type in the url. Even I can figure out how to do that...

Actually, the policy has changed. Might be worth checking out the updated version in the publisher forum.

Keeping in mind that (like other polls of this nature in the past) the forums follow Russ' rules rather than a democratic majority...

*nod*

This, I think, it an important point. We are here because of his good graces, along with the efforts of a handful of devoted volunteers. It isn't like Morrus is a public servant, using public funds and thus under some onus to make the playing field level for retailers.

He's already doing the publishers a favor by allowing them to get, in essence, free advertising. It'd be a heck of a lot more "fair" if the publishers and/or retailers put together a collective fund to help support the site that brings them much of their business. It is somehow more fair that we don't allow Morrus to set policies that'll keep this place rolling along?
