I've enjoyed many of your threads. They are usually specific in a thought provoking way. I dont always participate, becasue sometimes its not something im familiar with, but I always enjoy the read.EN World is the place I probably visit the most online. It's become my only form of social media as I've left (or never joined) everything else. It's also my main way of "participating" in D&D as a hobby, since I don't have an active group right now.
That said, I used to post a lot more frequently. But over time, I've either gotten a little tired of the types of replies I was getting (a lot more "you're wrong" than "yes then" or "no, but" posts) or absolute lack of replies has gotten me out of the habit. I suppose I'm slipping into more of a lurker than an active participator.
That fits for me, too. Socializing is maybe a bit limited, since I don't post very actively, and threads tend to move quite fast over here. But I visit often enough that there's a couple of familiar faces/avatars by now whose posts I enjoy to read. How I use ENWorld has changed a lot over the years. Currently, I mainly come here for:
- Gaming news.
- Socializing.
- Habit. EN World is (currently) #5 on the list of websites I cycle through daily.
