Buying Online - Not New Wave but... The War Store! - Thanks all!

New Wave sucks. I've had to deal with them on a large order before. They charge your card immediately and deliver late if at all. They are unresponsive to email and phone calls.

The number of BBB complaints against them speaks volumes.

I too have had bad experiences with New Wave. I bought over $120 worth of miniatures and it took me 5 months and constant emails and calls (which were rarely answered) to get about $80 worth from them. I asked them to credit my card which surprisingly they did. I do not recomend them though.

If you want a good place to buy miniatures try this place out The War Store

I bought $100 worth of miniatures from them and recieved them in less then a week, minus 5. Which were eventually delivered. They even sent me an extra miniature by mistake, which they told me to keep "on them". I sent them a letter of praise and told them I would share the knowledge!

They are very slow and I have had them lose my order. They are also very unresponsive by email. They are pleasent on the phone, but that doesn't help. I stopped using them over a year ago.

Dear God... no.. not New Wave! It took me almost FIVE MONTHS to get my Kalamar modules and Bluffside... Never.. never again...

I recomend that you avoid New Wave like the plauge. I ordered $125 worth of minis and paints from them last october. They have shipped me bits and pieces of my order since then, but as of three months ago they still owe me $30 worth of stuff. I've given up hope.

I have heard and experienced nothing but bad things about them.

NewWave is a scam, don't ever order from them.

Discount Hobbies is a good and reliable place, as is the ENWorld Store (http://enworld.rpgshop.com/), Brookhurst Hobbies (http://www.brookhursthobbies.com/), Noble Knight Games (http://www.nobleknight.com/), and Fantization (http://www.fantization.com/).

Try those guys out... just avoid NewWave! That place is a nightmare.
