They'll probably want yout to move this to the forum for "other" games, since this one is pretty much dedicated to 3E, and definitely is not the forum for talking about rules type of stuff.

Plus I hope you remember to post this on the C&C messageboards.

General is not supposed to be limited to 3e, OTOH there is a specific forum for other d20 games, inc C&C.

Sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum. Wasn't sure since it's "general".

I posted it on the TLG messageboards but they weren't too helpful. Not many of them even had or remembered Planescape. The only advice I got was from a guy named Serleran who said the races were unbalanced and that Githzerai should have psionics(hence my githzerai question in another thread).

Well now I know a PS githzerai shouldn't have psionic abilities, but I posted this here in the hopes that some who are familiar with AD&D Planescape could give me some pointers on "balancing" out the races. Or if they think the races are pretty much equal and close to their AD&D counterparts.

I'm sure that plenty of folks will help, myself included, but your presentation is a bit confusing. A lot of your text is squished together, which makes them a pain to read. My only suggestion at this point is that the stat mods should be +/-2, not +/-1. What is your baseline value for SR? And no, githzerai do not need psi abilities unless you're going for the psi-magic "non-transparency" theme in your campaign. Are you converting to 3.0, rather than 3.5?

I'm actually converting AD&D over to Castles and Crusades, thus the +!/-1 abilities. What I'm mostly looking for is rather the abilities of the races(as listed; name:effect) are generally balanced, underpowered or overpowered as a whole). Sorry if I wasn't clear about that.

Edit: SR in C&C is the number a caster must roll w/(d20+Ability mod) to affect said creature w/spell. It affects harmful and beneficial spells equally.

C&C uses +1/-1 not +2/-2

I meant to add that this is about rules, and there is a dedicated rules forum as well. So there are two other forums that this could go in, the one dedicated to "other" games, or the rules forum.

Yeah, this forum isn't strictly 3E, but it definitely isn't for rules conversion type stuff for a game that isn't 3E.

Plus I am by no means trying to hound or slam on this idea, after all, according to my sig I am a big fan of C&C.
