Bad saves are indeed 1/3 total HD.

Good saves on the other hand is 1/2 total HD +2.

Example:

A random Dire Animal with 10HD

Good saves: Fort and Ref.
Bad saves: Will

Which makes: Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +3

Always remember to round down.

Ofcourse you can do that too, but what if the creature has, say 37HD? therefore the formula I presented earlier is much easier to use, see... :D

No, I really am a dragon, scales, lair, hoard, and everything.

I'm also known as draco, and no, I'm not the same as the one in that dragonheart movie... :D

No, I used to be a mile long mechanical dragon (Also known as a Phyrexian Dragon Engine or Mak Fawa). But after the Father of Machines was slain during the Phyrexia/Dominaria war, I wen't through the Portal of Souls, and was reborn as a Jeweled Dragon. And yes, I am *THAT* Draco. :D
