Is there plans in the near future to have the calendar show more than birthdays? Maybe a forum for people could post items to be added to the calendar, things like 09/19 Talk Like a Pirate Day, or 08/05-08/2004 GENCON, game days.

I don't have any specific plans for it, but I agree that it is a useful function which we woefully underuse.

Tell you what - I'll set it so that people can add things to it and we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it won't be abused.

You should at least add important dates like GenCon, and Origins on there.
