Thomas Phinney, a renowned type designer and contributor to the CoC campaign adventure Masks of Nyarlathotep, is working to produce a digital revival of the Columbus typeface, used to typeset the original Call of Cthulhu logo and within several supplements. He's planning to build not only the base text but also alternate glyphs like the swash C used in the logo.
