I'm running some kinda gangland-chicago d20 modern game, but with the fantasy-meets-modern twist. Each race has its own crime family, who specialize in different things.

Humans, typically, don't do anything. They do everything.

Elves are cruel minded creatures, quick with their words. They have the drug trade cornered as well as are masters of extortion. "Never let an elf have your secrets" is a saying.

Dwarves are rowdy folk, acting as drunken arms dealers to the underworld.

Gnomes are car theives and loan sharks, all with the most annoying boooaaston accent imaginable.

halflings and orcs? I dunno.

In paralell with fantasy, each non-human race acts kinda stereotypical.

Forex, Gnomes typically roll around in DUB-styled escalades in groups of ten or eleven, being that small size creatures pack into vehicles easier. Gnomes have an affinity for technology as it were, so a gnomic firearm is typically sporting some oversized laser sight or whatnot.

Dwarves do it simple - panel vans and mid-size trucks. Dwarves have the greatest affinity for weapons, so there's no typical dwarf armament.

Elves tend to use small handguns and compact smgs, and roll in covertibles - they're still tree huggin' elves, kinda. S2000s/Miatas/SLKs.

any suggestions for the other two?

Halflings could fit into the second-story, cat burglar kind of crime family. Always stealing and selling everyone else's goods.

I picture orcs as being good at raketeering and the like. Maybe the whole "pay us for protection or we'll break your legs" type deal.

Orcs and half-orcs could be the hired muscle street gang toughs with no real family of their own, but work for everybody doing the dirty and mindless jobs.

In Urban Arcana there are Dragon blooded and snake blooded humans that might be fun to throw into the mix. Either could serve as the outsider but uberfamily that all the rest hate but can't work together to get rid of.
