Can a character cast spells while wearing Ki Straps?

The description says that they must be wrapped around both hands but also states that wearing them is like wearing gloves. I'm curious if wearing them would hinder someone casting a spell that needed somatic components.

I doubt it, "wearing them is like wearing gloves."
I don't think it would hinder the way metal gauntlets would.

I don't think it would either; I imagine that they'd wrap around the palms but not the fingers.

Wearing Gloves in the sense of the glove magic item slot. A character can wear one pair of gloves (Or two different gloves that're like gloves of storing, which is 1 per hand).
