Let's just say magic rings have ended up in some very weird places in my games and we'll leave it at that. :)

I came in here for a reason, and then I see TWOSIX was already at it.

hmmm.... deliberately frustrating me ... is it really TwoSix, or ... wait,do I hear wind chimes as I read this?

Anyway, I was going to say that the reason that 5e says similar digits in the rules is because they didn't want to return to the 1e days of gendered advantages.

You should select based on what you prefer to be, not just to wear an eleventh ring.

I was actually thinking of the plasmoid bard in one of our games, who kept rings and other items in all sorts of squelchy places.

But he did also turn his body into various instruments, so I think wind chimes would be quite feasible.
