Can a planeshi fter screw up RttToEE?

Hello folks.

Our RttToEE-campaign is in sight, and I am working on my character, a wizard who will hopefully survive and sooner or later level up as a planeshifter from MotP. However the planesh ifer gets some rather unique abilities as Planeshift-at-will which technically means I can hide on the ethereal plane and kill all the monsters from "a safe distance". Even while I can get this ability at level 12 (IIRC) when the campaign is almost over, can this destroy some fun in the campaign?

Over and out.

Edit: The board doesn't like the word shi-ft?

I'm running RTEE with a character who is a Ghost, currently working towards the Gatecrasher prestige class. It does pose some difficulties in the game, but nothing a reasonable clever and creative DM can't handle.

To handle Glencullen, the dwarven tinker who became a ghost after an untimely demise near the town of Nulb, I've introduced a new subplot that ties nicely into the main plotlines and gives him something to do while wandering around the ethereal plane. (I also decided that certain evil priests have extra bonuses to turn/control him, so that keeps him from wandering too far! Also, I've made good use of the wandering monster tables in the MoP.

You should definately get the okay from your DM first, though. It may take some time to rework the module to handle that kind of character.
