Can a warmage benefit from Extra Spell?

It's funny how you think that's a definate answer.

By a strict interpretation of the feat, I'd say it's the purpose of the feat. It won't break your game. A comparison can be made to the Extra Knowledge feat for Psionics which allow you to choose in restricted disciplines and across power lists.

The errata also came out for Complete Arcane and did not add the text which was on the Extra Spell feat in Tome & Blood, thus they probably didn't believe it warranted.

Now, a warmage with Rainbow Servant, that's always a good idea
