Can Barbarians and Rogues be bluffed?

Can the combat feint ability be effectively used against barbarians and rogues? Any sage advice on using combat bluffing against uncanny dodge where a person cannot be flat-footed or lose their dex bonus to AC?

We normally play that barbarians and rogues can be bluffed because a feint is harder to pick up then simply being caught flat-footed or hit by an invisible attacker.

I don't believe so. Uncanny Dodge states that you never lose your Dex bonus. A rogue four levels higher than you can still sneak attack with a flank, but you still don't lose your Dex bonus. Feint only causes your opponent to lose their Dex bonus, but a Barbarian and Rogue never does.

No. Even if someone makes a sweet Bluff check against a 2nd level Barbarian or 3rd level Rogue they'd still get to react to it and use their Dex bonus. Its almost uncanny. Oh wait....

Definitely.

Uncanny dodge does not prevent you from losing your Dex bonus to AC in all situations.

Uncanny dodge only protects against being caught flat-footed, facing an invisible attacker, and at higher levels, being flanked. (It also give a save bonus against traps at higher levels).

If you have Uncanny Dodge, you can still lose your Dex Bonus to AC when: you aresuccessfully Bluff/Feinted, you are Running, you are Cowering, you are Held, you are Climbing, when you are stunned, etc.

Uncanny Dodge does protect against the most common ways you can be sneak attacked, but it is not complete immunity to sneak attacks.

Doesn't Uncanny Dodge specifically state you never lose your Dex bonus, period? I'm not advocating letting characters use the ability while unconscious, mind you, but IIRC the text does state that you flat out keep your Dex bonus when attacked.

I'll side with Caliban on this one... unless it is spelled out in the ability description, it doesn't cover it.

Uncanny Dodge: At 3rd level and above, she retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) if caught flat-footed or struck by an
invisible attacker.
At 6th level , the rogue can no longer be flanked. Another rogue at least four levels higher can still flank.

At 11th level, the rogue gains a +1 bonus to Reflex saves made to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks by
traps.
At 14th level, these bonuses rise to +2. At 17th, they rise to +3, and at 20th they rise to +4.
