Modern Player's Companion, Future Player's Companion, Modern Magic, Martial Arts Mayhem, how balanced are they to the core Modern D20 books.

Martial Arts Mayhem is balanced just fine.

Haven't read the others, but I suspect they are fine, too, since they were designed by some of the original d20 Modern crew.

The Game Mechanics' "Modern Player's Companion" is definitely ready to go out of the box and completely balanced with d20 Modern. It's a great product.

I've got Modern Magic I and II and Modern Player's Companion I and II and have found them an excellent addition to my D20M games.

I found the little "character construction recipes" a waste of space in Modern Player's Companion. That said, I find the equipment kits make it indispensable.

They're balanced. And good additions.
There's a martial arts supplement for D20 Modern that is (in my opinion) better, and more thorough, though.

You will have to decide which system you are going to use in Modern Magic, as they are a little different, but otherwise its great. And my players found the aforementioned character construction recipies useful. They wer used to playing DnD and basically having only one class and maybe a PrC along the way, this showed them the versatility of multiclassing in d20M.
