Can Mighty Composite Bows also be Masterwork?

Hey, not so fast!

You can't call it quit before you gave the community a chance to point fingers and laugh!

Oooh wait, I see a guy who thinks you can flank with a mirror image somewhere else in the threads. Okay, you're free to go.

;)l

Hmm... but it's okay to glance his way and snigger, ain't it? :D

I'm pretty sure you can have MW mighty composite longbows, also according to the Monster Manual entry of the Solar, it lists it's bow as:

"+2 mighty composite longbow (+5)"

Hope that helps.

Of course you can have them. A mighty composite longbow is just another type of weapon. But it can be used with composite longbow proficiency (like whip and whip-and-dagger). It can be masterwork, and it can be magical.

Look at DMG, Page 185, Table 8-14: Common Ranged Weapons. There are mighty composite bows on that table, and the table's there to determine the weapon type of a random magical weapon.
