Can us subscribers get an option...

... to get rid of the stuff at the top of the forum page?

By this I mean the bar entitled "The world's premier fan community for Dungeons & Dragons news and more!". This is OK on a decent sized screen but on a smaller screen it is a pain to have to scroll past this LARGE bar everytime. The info there is stuff that only has to be found/used rarely and would be better as a drop down somewhere.

Also can we have a forum setting to get rid of the sub forum bar that is always at the top. If I want to go to a sub forum I can go to the main menu. This is for the same reason, ATM the website is very portable device un-friendly.

EDIT: even with the mother-in-law's laptop the image is what I am greeted with. It is going to be worse with my Android phone. I really don't want or need to see the stuff outlined in red, I wanna get on and browse!

Well, what you call the "sub-bar" is just vBulletin; that's how the software displays sub-forums. We don't really have a way to change that without re-writing vBulletin.

We're not particularly mobile friendly, I agree. It's something I'm working on by installing things like Tapatalk, which is very mobile friendly, but we do have some way to go on that. We're a little behind the curve when it comes to mobile devices.

I am behind the curve to... I plan to fix that and I am just about to perform my first root though (oh-er). Well that is oh-er in NZ, we even call (routers) rooters rowters to stop giggles and snorts
