Can we get the column ads on the right again?

When did the column ads switch to the left side of the forums? Is this a setting that can be user-controlled, or is it just the way the webpages are formatted?

I ask this because I read ENworld from a laptop, and I now need to keep my web browser window maximized just so I can read threads without scrolling left-right.

I find it more than mildly irritating to say the least.

At the moment, no - because the Q&A forum (which probably won't last, but we'll see) has some inbuilt right-hand sideblocks which I can't deactivate, creating two columns on the right. That forced me to move the sidebar to the left.

But the good news is it doesn't look like the Q&A forum experiment is working, so I'll be able to move them back if I delete that forum.

Why are two columns on the right side a problem? Aesthetics?

It's just one subforum against the whole rest of the forum after all.
