Can you help me find a name for an empire?

I have tried hard, only to get a headache. Well, I need a name for an empire, and I am just unable to come with anything satisfying.

This is a 400 years old Human empire that was created just after the "great Chaos war", when Law won over Chaos. Civilization is not typical European medieval, but something more Roman, Byzantine, with some middle-oriental like provinces.

Well, I picked some Byzantine Thema and Duchy names:

Opsikion
Thrakesion
Anatolikon
Kibyrrhaiotai
Calabria (especially if you're going for a Byzantine Italian feel)
Liguria

13th Century Byzantine fragments:

Nomothesia : The law given.

May I from these suggest:

The Nomothesian Realms, or Nomothian Realms.

The. As in, "The Empire."

If the Great War ended in a Final Victory for Law, then it's probably a Big Huge Empire that no longer needs a name...after all, it's The Empire.

I will use Nomothetis for the empire. The other names will also prove useful for provinces. (Note: this was not the "final" victory of Law, thus that should probably not called "The Empire" except maybe by its citizens).

playing for years and I still manage to pull backwards spelled names past my players...
