Can you use the Persistent Spell feat on True Strike?

Yeah, well, casters are "somebody" too, y'know. :)

I believe it could also work with a Ring of Spell Storing or Spell Storing weapon, though the usefullness of doing so isn't too great.

You'd need a major ring of spell storing to do that since Persistent Spell is +6 levels which means that Persistent True Strike will occupy 7 out of the 10 levels of the ring. The weapon and minor ring only stores 3 levels and the regular ring has 5. But then if you're still going to store True Strikes into spell storing devices, making them Persistent is pretty stupid when you can fill it up normally with True Strikes on a one to one basis since the spells use the minimum caster level.

Besides, those major rings are hella expensive! They're priced at 200,000gp for double the storage of a regular ring which costs 50,000gp. Even the regular ring has a large premium for two extra levels of spells compared to the 18,000gp minor ring.

That's pretty standardized progression, really. Most items have a cost based on the square of the relevant value: bonus squared * 2000 for weapons, bonus squared * 1000 for armor, pretty close to spell level squared * 50 for scrolls (technically, it's SL*(2*SL-1)*25, which works out to (SL2-SL/2)*50, and so on. Making rings of spell storing have a cost proportional to the square of the number of spell levels stored doesn't seem too far-fetched.

[mutter] Don't remind me.

We had a minor one, and even that was pretty cool... but last session, the wizard drew Talons from the Deck of Many Things...

Hmmph.
