D&D 5E Canadians: Preordering 5E from Chapters.ca?

Canadians who got their 5E Starter Set online from Chapters/Indigo and had it delivered around July 3rd: this questions is for you.

I live in Canada, and I recently cancelled my 5E order with Amazon.ca in order to take advantage of Chapters' apparently generous shipping policies. (Prices between Amazon and Chapters are comparable for members, as you probably know.) My order is the free shipping option for the following 5E(ish) products:
  • Player's Handbook (August);
  • Monster Manual (September);
  • DMG (November);
  • Hoard of the Dragon Queen (August);
  • Rise of Tiamat (October);
  • Murder in Baldur's Gate (already available);
  • Legacy of the Crystal Shard (already available);
My hope is to get the PH and Hoard of the Dragon Queen as well as the two Sundering adventures by mid-August, but Chapters website is quoting an estimated delivery date for everything at the end of November (following the release date of the DMG, the last product to release in my order). It's been a while since I ordered much from Chapters, so I don't recall how reliable their shipping estimates are. In the past I'm sure they sent me part-orders early even with the free shipping option, as long as the total of the items shipped was above the minimum threshold for free shipping.

What are the odds of getting my stuff early?

Only the premium shipping will get you them early at best. If you go with the Free shipping they will all be shipped together when the players hand book comes out. I split the orders so i would get them all as Soon as possible with out having to pay for premium shipping.

I also changed my order from Amazon.ca to Indigo. Reasons being 1) People getting their Starter Sets early and 2) I NOW remember the same thing happening with my 4e core book purchases.

I consider it even odds to get them early.

Oh yeah, I have also gotten parts of orders shipped separately with free shipping from them in the past. It even says they MAY do so with no additional shipping costs somewhere in the shipping section.

That's not a bad idea.

I'm pretty sure I had the same experience with my 4E preorders too.

I'm wondering if anyone who got their 5E Starter Set early from Chapters did so even though it was a part of a larger order that also included later 5E releases. Anybody?

No, I'm just ordering one at a time. I can say that with the Starter, the email said the release would be July 15, but it ended up shipping before that.
