Can't edit a post

I get:

A server error occurred. Please try again later.

It happens only when I attempt to edit the very first post of my OOC thread for my PbP game: [5E] [OOC] JM's A Bit of Trouble (Recruiting 2-3 PCs)

I changed the thread title, no problem. I changed post #2. But the first post gives me an error.

EDIT: can I edit this first post?

Tried again just now. It's not later enough apparently.

That's just the system's way of telling you that your post is perfect as it is.

I just tried without any issue. At what stage does it give you that error message?

When I hit save. There's [ hr][ /hr] as the first thing in the post. I'm trying to add above that:

I'm recruiting again. 4th level characters. I haven't decided on existing magic gear yet. The original chargen rules are in the RG thread. The good thing about this recruitment is the PCs are in an extended downtime period. So bringing in new blood won't feel contrived. More details about "the story far" will be posted when I'm no longer sick, damn cold.

When I hit save, I get the error.

I tried disabling Javascript. No luck.
I tried a different browser. No luck. (Chrome originally, Firefox instead).
And, of course, no javascript in Firefox. No luck.

I tried editing the first post in this thread. That worked. Very Odd.
