How about something Racially Diverse? D&D shouldnt be something that would fit on the BET lineup...

I've long had the suspicion, and this post tells me it is true. Black skinned elves, black skinned dwarves, black skinned dragons, all evil villains!

I think it may well be. Let a D&D movie start on BET instead of SciFi, it's about time that D&D was available to ALL the people, regardless of skin color.

Ugh. I hope none of these movies ever get made!

I don't know specifically what type of character I'd cast any of these actors as (they're all so talented they could play anything), but I'd love to see a D&D movie written and directed by Luc Besson, that included most of the British/Australian cast of LOTR (Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett) and the Harry Potter films (Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Michael Gambon), and a few of the more distinguished actors from the X-Men franchise (Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart).

Some real good choices here and I for one would love a live action of the old D&D cartoon, with CGI and all the way it is today, I think you could pull kids into D&D by putting out a GOOD movie with a real script and base it on the cartoon, now that being said a real R rated D&D movie would kick butt as well.
