Plane Sailing
Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
It occurs to me that a sort-of parallel exists with the wall of force. Most spells cannot trace a line of effect through it (magic missile, fireball etc) but some spells can get "past" it because they don't actually have a line of effect (dimension door, teleport). I would guess that the list of spells that can/can't get past an antimagic field/cone would be pretty much the same as the list that can bypass a wall of force (with the exception of disintegrate, of course!)
I've never really considered Monster Summoning in that situation... is it something which you could cause on the far side of a wall of force, because that is the point at which you "open a dimensional summoning point" or whatever? or does there have to be some magical influence within the current plane that has to be at the summoning point?
