So . . .

If you have played [the module that's out], how enjoyable will [the module that's not out] be?

Is that what you are asking?

How can I know that when I don't have the item that's not out? Seriously? I don't know how I could know it before I can see it, read it and play it.

Have a good one! Take care!

It's now out. Amazon shipped mine on Monday morning.

But do you have it yet?

I don't get items right away, so even though this is the week for it, I might not get it for a while. So, for me at least, it will be a while before I can compare it to anything.

According to the USPS, I should have this book (and Complete Mage) in my hot little hands by tomorrow afternoon at latest.

For myself, I'm cautiously optimistic and have already figured out where I'll be placing the castle in my campaign. It just so happens the good guy characters are clearing out a haunted abbey right now, which is just the sort of exploit that will make them likely candidates to take on Strahd when they're higher level. (As per the hooks published on the WotC site.)
