Catfolk - more info?

I am considering introducing catfolk into my game, and I had a few questions.

- Do they have a name for themselves other than "catfolk" (which is presumably what other races call them)?

- Would it be fair to give them a language of their own? I know they don't have one by RAW, but I think it would help them stand out as a race.

- Which race(s) would make good traditional rivals/enemies/allies for them?

At the moment I only have the Miniatures Handbook, but I believe Races of Destiny has more info on them...

Oops, I meant Races of the Wild, Not Races of Destiny.

The MH writeup is very basic...

Actually, the Miniature's Handbook states they have a language called Feline (with each tribe speaking a different dialect).

Currently, they're a cardboard cutout race. There's nothing on them.

Rakasta - or at least that's what catfolk should have been.

I always had catfolk in my games... yet not the published version. I don't like LA races.
