CB Error or errata?

I used the CB to do my PC in a form my DM could access easily- he asked nicely- and so that it would be easier to distribute magic items. But one came up funny.

I got this item:

Veteran's Leather Armor +1 AC

When you spend an AP, you gain a +1 item bonus to all Att rolls and defenses until the end of your next turn.

Power (Daily): free action. Spend an action point but don't gain extra action- instead regaining use of one expended daily power

However, that's the way it reads in the book. In the CB, however, the Daily power was not listed.

Was this an error by the CB or has this power been errataed?

The daily power was ridiculous for such low level (and cheap) armor, so was entirely removed some time ago.

Of course, if your DM is okay with the old version, you can just pencil it in next time you print your character sheet.

Once they put in the ability to edit/create custom cards, you can just edit it back in yourself.

It was ridiculous, because you could once get any numbers of them, and you could use one of them, whenever you reached a milestone...

No problem when you don´t play "exploit the rules" but D&D instead.
I would just make the old veteran armor rare (it has a daily). So you can relatively easy get the updated one, but when you find one of them, it could be one of "the good old days" where magic was common and wizards could create wonderful things.

If you want to know if something was errata'd, you can look it up Wizards website. You can also check the item out in the Compendium and it should have the date and errata action listed.

Don't listen to them, Danny. It's a trick! The truth is that there are only eleven sets of veteran's armor in existence. If one came up for you on CB then at that moment, somewhere else, a character wearing Veteran's Armor just died.
