CB to be Updated 12/21

Since its being housed on their own servers dont expect to ever be able to add anything to the CB.

Well, the CB already gives us personal space to store characters. There's no reason we couldn't store images in that space as well. They might have to ban copyrighted or obscene images, but that's not a big deal.

Personally I don't give two hoots about them having images stored on the CS's, really just print out another sheet, it's just cosmetic after all. No problem. Now...the math issues that show up (my ranger's off-hand damage calculates the same as main hand, despite TWF only applying to main one as an example), the lack of house rules, weaponliments, etc, are actual problems that prevent the math from calculating correctly which greatly reduce the value of the CB.

I really thinking they're taking on way too much and should actually focus on getting the tools working first before working on multiple developments. i.e. the VTT, online MB, "other tools", etc.

TWF applies to both hands now. This was changed in Essentials.

Not that it negates the rest of your post, but that particular point was errataed to apply to main and off hand.
(I only recall this 'cause it came up in a game i was in once)

From update document:

Two-Weapon Fighting
Page 201: The feat now grants a bonus to damage
rolls with both your main weapon and your off-hand
weapon.

Benefit: While wielding a melee weapon in each
hand, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage rolls of
weapon attacks that you make with a melee weapon.

Anyway, sorry to go off topic -- but to the regularly scheduled discussion.

Edit: ninjaed

Oh...my bad...wow...they wanted to make rangers even more powerful? Good...I felt weak compared to the assassin or sorcerer.

I'm not going to call it complete until they put the house rules back in. I like to be able to add powers or feats for free. Also they have issues with items that give a power, like Corellon's Boon, as well as power swaps. Not to mention they have a bunch of incorrectly categorized items, like armor that shows up under cloth but not leather, whereas it should show up under both, as well as items completely missing such as Hungry Greatspear or Hungry Gouge (though a Hungry Spear and a Hungry Javelin can be found). They still have a lot of bugs to fix, and have a ways to go before the online CB is on par with the old version.

I think they needed a more aggressive attack to clean up all the bugs. The bug list they shared seems short and doesn't give me confidence in their commitment to get this right.

While, I am glad the export is back, it doesn't mean much to me until there are house rules and fixes so I can transfer all the characters from our campaign to the new CB. They are about to level up again, and at this point, regardless of whether I use online or offline CB, there will be a good bit of manual work I have to do for all character sheets, going at it with a pen.

Speaking of, is there actually a way to get rid of items that you've incorrectly added to your inventory (or just sold)? My friends and I haven't been able to figure that out.

This is one of the more commonly asked questions. If you go to the market place, one of the options to the left is to sell. And when you sell, you can just remove, or sell at 20%, 50%, or 100%.

This is a great step, but until the CB builds a character without all the rules gaffes and stuff, it's not really useful.

Here's hoping that they quickly whip this thing into shape and get the new MB pushed out- that's what I am really waiting for.

Load your character. Click on 8/Get Equipment. Click on 'Switch to Marketplace'. Click on 'Sell items' in 'choose a shop to enter'. Select the item you want to get rid of. Click on 'Remove'.

Yes, this is needlessly complicated.
