CB's Grim Frequencies AP OOC -- COMPLETE

Alright boys and girls I spent the better part of my night editing the RG. The addition of an ally and an enemy allowed for me to clean up J.R.'s backstory that had some huge holes in it. Example why would a bar fight in Pittsburgh PA land J.R. in a prison in Indy? Didn't make sense to me either. So I added a few things to make it work and also finally leveled J.R. up. Feel free to go and read it I think it makes for a much more compelling story. If not I can give you the cliff notes. J.R.'s fight turned out to be one with a local crime family. Once J.R. realized the mistake he fled to his one and only ally who resided in Indy. The family tracked him down and a firefight broke out. He lived, but was sent to prison. Yah, we got a badass over here :)

CB if this doesn't work for you let me know and I can come up with something else. Also if you need to know what changes were made after the level gain let me know and I can summarize for you.

First, Rubberneck, thanks for updating your character sheet. I'm sorry to hear you burned an entire evening on that task, but I understand. PbP can be time-consuming. A couple of things you said jumped out at me, and I'd like to take a minute to address them.

Because, if you'll recall, everyone in the clink committed a Federal (not a State) offense and was committed to a Federal Correctional Institute, which are well-known for interstate prisoner transfers. It is therefore not at all unlikely that a prisoner who committed an offense and was convicted in Pennsylvania could wind up at FCI Terre Haute, Indiana. That said, what you've written for J.R.'s background is fine.

What you wrote is fine. I like the DM gift you gave me of the O'Brennen crime family in Pittsburgh; thanks for that. And Axel is probably going to be a useful contact, so that's good, too.

Yah I thought they were good ideas. Personally the whole combat medic thing is a total win. Even at this point now that he's been out of the service we could say Axel has furthered his education in the field of medicine and can be called in to patch the party up if one of us gets badly injured. The crime family enemy leads to so much RP outside the main story line too.

Alrighty I'm having a bizarre issue with this tapatalk app. For some reason whenever I get to a certain post in the thread it crashes the app. It's the post most recently done by CB. It's happened before with a post from FF. I was able to skirt around it because it was at a busy point and I could skip to the next page. So updating for me will have to be done from an actual computer at home. Until I can skip to the next page anyway :)

Irish car bombs. You pour a third a bottle of Guinness in a glass, then prepare a shot of 1/2 Irish whiskey and 1/2 Bailey's. Drop the shot glass in the Guinness and drink in one go.

Wow. That sounds really...potent. ;)

I am so not a drinker. I have been drunk four times and tipsy only a handful of times more than that (for context, I'm 39). I only drink about once every two and a half years on average and always stick with Rum & Coke or a fancy ice cream drink at a restaurant.
