D&D 5E CB's Stonefast IC -- COMPLETE

. . . and I think I just missed the whole point of Stonecunning, which might be that Guran gets to add 2xProficiencyBonus even though he's not proficient in History.
If that's the case, then add 4 to that roll: 5+4 = 9.

Fulgrim's dwarven senses tingle as the group walks west down Hallway B. He notices a slight irregularity in the masonry of the stone wall on the south side of Hallway B, about ten feet to the west of the southern door to Room 5.

"Hold up," Fulgrim said, "I do believe there may be a concealed door here... or possibly just new construction. Anyone have some chalk? I think we should wait to investigate until we clear the other rooms." The dwarf mage points at a patch of wall with interest.

OOC: Guran carries a set of Mason's Tools, but the PHB doesn't specify what that contains. Surely it must contain a chisel and a square and a plumb bob and a trowel, and probably a length of twine, for I don't see how one would do accurate stonework without those. Would it hold chalk as well?

If Guran's toolset includes chalk, he produces the chalk from his pack while saying, "Good eyes. I missed that."

OOC: @tuxgeo, in addition to the items you list above, pick three mundane items that cost no more than 3 gp each and include them in your mason's tools. Chalk can be one of them if you like.

OOC: Re: "pick three mundane items" to include in mason's tools: (a) Chalk (5 pieces @ 1 copper each); (b) Hammer, sledge (@ 2 GP); Spikes, iron (10) (@ 1 GP).
(I was going to go for a compass but they're not listed; anyway, tying twine to an iron spike and fastening chalk to the other end of the twine would do the same thing.)
I'll update Guran's character sheet to list those.

After Guran chalked the outline of the irregularity on the dungeon wall, the group marched further west down Hallway B and came to a stop in front of a door on the north wall. The door to the new room (Room 6) was closed.
