Hmm. I wonder if I can actually make the newer version useful! . So far, I've not really gotten anywhere making new maps with CC2, not that I think that's CC2's fault, it's probably mine.

I know what you mean - I didn't "get it" until I spent a weekend delving into it. Went thru the tutorial, worked thru re-creating a campaign map. Now CC2 is all I use.
with the CCPro update - they smooth out the GUI lotsa nice interface features. I'd encourage you to jump back in there.
If you could see the glow on my players faces when I show up with map hand-outs!
It's a bit of a curve - but one worht it methinks!
