CCF refused D&D donations

Anyways, I think it's funny how DnD gamers jump on Christian based charities for doing something like that when I'm pretty sure many other Religious based charities would also refuse the money (although I'd be surprised if Wiccan, Pagan and/or Atheist organizations were to take the same stance as the CCF.).

It's not 'funny', though. Other religious-based charities might, but the main flack against D&D has always come first and foremost from Christian denominations. There's no history of animosity between us and other types. I'm sure somewhere that there's been a Jewish or Buddhist screed against D&D but if so it's a drop in the bucket compared to the stuff that's been generated by the various Christian denominations.

It seems that this thread is becoming a 'religious issues' one, and although there has already been some useful and substantive discussion up to this point, (particularly on the issues about taking reports at face value vs doing additional digging for information), I think I'll close it now before someone steps over the line.

There has been a fair chance for people to air their opinions by this stage.

You're using orange text, so it's obvious I've done something wrong.

No. No no no! What you said was good, and I said so.

We use colored text when we want to be sure something moderation-related is seen. That doesn't mean it is something bad.
