CD Alternate Turning and Empower Turning feat

I really like the alternate turning rules in Complete Divine (1d6 damage/cleric level to all undead within 30').

How would you re-do the Empower (or Heighten) Turning feat with this alternate? 1d8 damage? +1 or +2 points per level?

(Does this belong in House Rules instead?)

Yeah, if you're asking for opinions or other people's rulings, it's House Rules. D&D Rules is for RAW (rules as written).
 


What we do in the campaigns I play in is the following: if the cleric has the Empower Turning feat he do his damage x 1.5.

So, a 10th level cleric does 15d6 of damage.
