Nick moves to 55n25e and then to 55n35 and attacks the tangled mass with his spiked chain. He tries to focus on the combat and not on Natalie.

As Nick approaches the tangled mass, it extends a ropy tendril, which smacks the ground (natural 1). Nick rakes the mass with his chain (rolled 30) for 18 points of damage. Nick's chain starts sizzling, taking 5 points of acid damage.

TM smacks Nick with three ropy tendrils (worst roll 23, one missed because of darkness), dealing 54-30=24 bludgeoning and 13 acid damage.
Nick turns gaseous and feels compelled to leave the arena.

A pale, undead centaur flies into the arena to 90n10e10z, heading east. A huge set of bull horns juts out from Armen Keteyian's head and he's covered nearly head-to-toe in spiked full plate armor and barding. He holds a heavy spiked shield and a heavy lance. Armen attempts to summon another armanite, Suzi Kolber (who will not kiss Joe). Suzi will appear at 90n35e0z and will immediately charge TM, flying over the pit to 75n40.

Armen charges to 65n20e, lance lowered at TM.
TM takes an AoO as Armen approaches and slams him (rolled 30) for 21-5 plus 0 acid. Armen has 21 hp. TM grabs on and pulls Armen into its square (rolled 47 vs. 28 Grp check).
Armen's lance attack is ruined, but he can still make a grapple option that replaces an attack in this round (no standard actions, however). What does he do?
