DD's id is intact.

Round 781

The dragon trots down to 50N25E, then turns and pushes the brain out of the arena (30 vs. 2 Strength check), ending at 50N0E.

Next in round 781 for Chaotic Evil is a drider (Monster Manual).

A large spider with the torso of a drow instead of a thorax climbs quickly into the arena. It enters at 0n15e and casts levitate. Can it move up 20ft immediately or must it wait until next round? Jim Morris the drider starts singing, "Driders on the storm..." Bum, bum, ba da ba bum...

Levitating is a move action, so Jim Morris will have to wait until next round.

Round 782

The dragon flies and lands at 10N15E and bites Jim in the abdomen (natural 20) for 26 points of damage. Jim has 19 HP remaining.

"This is the end, my friend..."

So much for the tactical approach. Why did I think that that thing couldn't fly? If Jim weren't so high, he'd be irritated right now. Jim casts defensively, shooting a lightning bolt at the bad guy.

Jim is indeed high, not being able to cast his spell (10+4=14 Concentration check).

Round 783

DD actually misses with one wing, but that is made up for by getting a critical hit with the other wing, dealing 56 points of damage. Jim is done for.

Next in round 783 for Chaotic Evil is a crypt chanter (Libris Mortis).

Crap, you could have succeeded on that Concentration check with your d4!

Another nekkid female floats into the arena, this one going to 60n15e10z. Melissa is singing a melodius tune to the dragon. Unlike Veronica, Melissa is actually kind of pretty, in an undead, translucent, not-really-there sorta way.

Oh, wait, was Veronica in the other arena?
