Flylo breathes again, and General Rumbull cannot ignore this blast. General Rumbull dodges, but still takes 11 points of fire damage. General Rumbull is down to 659 HP.

Round 934

General Rumbull touches Flylo for 15 electrical and 12 sonic damage. Flylo is dead, but at least Flylo scratched the General.

Next in round 934 for Chaotic Evil is a dust wight (Monster Manual III).

A haggard humanoid, no not Grizzly Adams, waltzes into the arena surrounded by a cloud of dust. He moves to 10n25e and readies to slam the General if he comes within range. DustBoy at least hopes his aura-thingy will affect the General.

The odds give DustBoy two rounds of survival, one of them being a thunderclap-filled round.

Round 935

General Rumbull stays where it is, and touches DustBoy for 15 electrical and 13 sonic damage. General Rumbull ignores the aura-thingy. DustBoy has 92 HP remaining.

OOC: PJSlavner threw this thing at me in a lich encounter (the dust wight, not the thunder worm). I made save not knowing that the consequence would have been .... petrification? With a lich hanging around? Yikes!

Yeah, and the thing got within 5 feet of only one party member, and never hit anything after the psychic warrior kept tripping it. Gansk ruined all my fun. :\

Next in round 935 for Chaotic Evil is (ta-da!) a bone bugbear (Book of Vile Darkness). This is the first CR 8 creature for Chaotic Evil, so they are expecting great things from it.

A bugbear skeleton named Mark McGwire trots into the arena to 10n10e and throws his magical shortsword up at the General. It seems that the years of abusing steroids has finally caught up with the slugger as the muscles eventually just sloughed off his bones.

Round 935 - L10

McGwire hits one out of the park! (Rolled 31-6) 5 points of damage takes the general down to 654 hp.

General Rumbull replies with a thunderclap. Mark the dextrous one still can't avoid it (rolled 21 Ref save) and takes 119 points of damage. General Rumbull ups his Hall of Fame mark and Mark's bones blow like dust in the wind.

Next for CE: a palrethee (demon). (MM II)
