Whack! The crocodile's momentum allows tail to meet head. (Rolled 18+2) The bat takes 14 points of damage and has 7 hp left.

Round 457: Batman finishes casting his spell. A five foot long glowing earthworm appears at 55N70E and charges to 55N35E. It misses. (Rolled 12+2) The wolverine steps to 60N35E and manages to bite the crocodile, but the wounds immediately heal.

Batman tells the bat to "heel" and the bat withdraws to 55N95E5Z. Batman casts a spell.
 


The earthworm torches the ground with its AoO. (Rolled natural 1)

Round 458: Batman moves to 55N90E while drawing his scimitar. Then he lets out a piercing shriek. Connor handles most of the sound (rolled 24 Fort save) and takes 1 point of sonic damage. He has 27 hp left.

Batman tells the bat to "defend" and it moves to 50N80E5Z.

The earthworm charges to 55N65E and hits. (Rolled 19+2) Connor immediately heals the wounds from the slam, but is burned for 8 and does not catch on fire. (Rolled natural 20 Ref save) He has 19 hp left.

The wolverine moves to 55N70E.
 


The wolverine and earthworm hit with their AoO's. (Rolled 16 & 20) Neither does any damage with their natural weapons, but the earthworm burns Dr. Conner for 6. Dr. Conner catches on fire (rolled 10 Ref save), takes another 5 fire damage, and has 8 hp left.

The bat bites the head off Dr. Conner, reverse-Ozzy style. (Rolled natural 20, 23 crit roll) Dr. Conner takes another 25-10 = 15 damage and falls down dying before he makes it to Batman.

Round 459: Batman casts a spell while the rest of the group gathers around to feast on burning flesh.

Batman is at 55N90E. The bat is at 50N80E5Z. The wolverine is at 55N75E. The earthworm is at 50N75E.

Next up for CE: a vampire spawn. (MM)

Round 460: The earthworm moves to 50N60E and slams into Vampy (rolled 22) for 7-5=2 bludgeoning + 5 points of fire damage. Vampy does not catch on fire (rolled 16 Ref save). The wolverine moves up to 55N60E and swipes air (rolled 6). The bat and Batman stay put. Vampy has 22 HP remaining.
