Celestials vs. Half-Celestials: Why are halvsies twice as powerful?

The celestial template is the flipside of the fiendish (slightly evil critters) template. Celestialish sounds stupid, so they dropped the ish.

They should use something like Angelic instead of Half-Celestial or find some other term. Then the flavor text could state that these are the offspring of powerful Good outsiders such as angels or creatures of similar prowess.

And their Spell list has that "jumble of loosely associated abilities” feel that is a hallmark of olde edition Angels / Devas.

Hell, I just applied that template to a stone giant to get a really beefy Statue Angel.
