The Full Attack line for a centaur reads:
Full Attack: Longsword +7 melee (2d6+6/19-20) and 2 hooves +3 melee (1d6+2); or composite longbow (+4 Str bonus) +5 ranged (2d6+4/×3)
A centaur's Strength is 18 (+4). Why is the damage bonus for the longsword +6, as if the longsword were wielded two-handed? Is this a typo, or is there an obscure rule somewhere that I am missing?
Bonus philosophical question: Should centaurs and driders and other "tauric" creatures wield Large weapons? Perhaps they should have an ability that works like the reverse of the half-giant's powerful build, something like this:
Undersized Weapon (Ex) Although the tauric creature is Large sized, its humanoid portion may only wield weapons sized for Medium creatures without penalty.
