Chain Spell Feat?

I was thinking of taking this feat however I'm trying to guage if its worth it... I've been looking at my spell book and have noticed only Enervate, Polymorph Other, and Phantasmal Killer fullfill the criteria of the feat... is this it?

If the feat only effects three spells is it worth it? Is there a listing of spells that feats effect? Can someone help me on this one?

Hehe. No such divine reverence is needed. :)

Note that you may have to check some of those... It's the simple result of a database search for ranged spells affecting only one target (creature or object). Enjoy.

Ah, someone beat me to it. Well, here goes anyway, since there seem to be a couple on my list that the previous one hasn't got.

Technically, Enervation can't be Chained, since it produces an Effect: Ray, rather than specifying a target.

Some of my favourites for Chaining are Blindness/Deafness, Haste and the targeted version of Dispel Magic.

You can also Chain the following, though some are Epic, some are pointless and some require a certain targeting option be chosen: Cause Fear, Charm Person, Command, Daze, Destruction, Detect Poison, Dismissal, Dominate Animal, Dominate Monster, Dominate Person, Doom, Enlarge, Feeblemind, Finger of Death, Flesh to Stone, Geas/Quest, Grease, Greater Dispelling, Greater Magic Fang, Greater Magic Weapon, Hold Animal, Hold Monster, Hold Person, Implosion (maybe), Insanity, Keen Edge, Knock, Lesser Geas, Magic Mouth, Make Whole, Maze, Mending, Mind Blank, Misdirection, Modify Memory, Nightmare, Open/Close, Phantasmal Killer, Polymorph Any Object, Polymorph Other, Power Word, Kill, Power Word, Stun, Pyrotechnics, Quench, Random Action, Reduce, Shatter, Shield Other (more than likely a very bad idea), Stone to Flesh, Suggestion, Sympathy and Tasha's Hideous Laughter.

Phew. I think that's most of them. A small bit more than three, eh? :)
 


No magic missile? Ok, technically it can target more than one creature, but if you only target one creature then it should work.

A spell that specifies a single target.

Magic Missile generalises - one or more creatures. Generalising is the opposite of specifying :) The condition is a function of the spell, not of the choice you make when casting it.
