I'll try to answer everything at once. My name is Calye. The booth I am in is the Twisted Fate Productions booth. Our product is the 2002 Chainmail Girl Convention Calendar. The 2002 version features artwork interpretations of the character of Amara Wintersword. Listings of gaming conventions are on each weekend. The 2003 version will be released in August 2002 and will feature photos rather than artwork. Copies of the calendar may be purchased from our website at http://www.geocities.com/chainmailgirl

That is Gary Gygax in the background. He was in the booth next to ours at Gencon 2001.

The top is made of aluminum and has a black lining. The top does offer full coverage.

Calye

You know... you come home after a night drinking... you make a post on the boards... and then this... I need sleep.... comments tomorrow.. :D

Welcome to the boards... we're not always total gits... well.... maybe sometimes.

Is this your only product? This seems like a very Nitch market. Do you guys just do this to pay for cons or can you actually make a living at this?

Sorry just curious

I'm sorry, but i think that's kinda cool.

It seems that almost everyone hears about things if people on this board talk about something.
THAT is a hallmark of good industry and community communication. :)

Unfortunately, Calye, the website is not allowing people to connect. :(
That's a lot of traffic that geocities is refusing (how low are their bandwidth limitations?)

Perhaps consider getting an ISP to host your site, if it's a business site that might get good word-of-mouth? ;)

And Teflon Billy - I appreciate the support.
Ashtal - no problems at all, I just took your words as a poster, not a moderator, and figured you were not above my critical words. ;) (hell, i don't think anyone's above my critical words - even myself!)
Piratecat - no big deal, you closely monitor my posts, and I closely monitor yours.
It's all good. :)
We gotta keep each other in line, to make sure our sh*& don't stink.
Now... be off with you, and terrify all of us in the NeMoran's Vault, man!
We need a scare - it's all too business-like down there!

Not reading the thread, accusing people of things and threatening to flex "Moderator Muscle" without any cause is beyond my understanding...particularly coming from someone of PC's standing in this community.

Piratecat is by far an exceptional moderator. He demonstrates more tact, more patience and more control than I could ever hope to have in my pinky finger.

But that doesn't mean he never has an off day. Like we all do. PC apologized for misreading, well before any of this - before I apologized for heaven's sakes! :) Because PC is someone of such standing, as you yourself said TB, I don't think it's asking too much to give the guy a break. I could see a complaint thread (STILL something to be mailed to the moderator, not posted to the board) maybe warrented if he had said a string of nasty words, closed the thread and banned a user. But you are getting angry after he APOLOGIZED? Come on, now. If this is anyone's fault, it's mine, so please leave him out of it.

And Cayle, thank you for coming by. :) I'm sorry if my post offended you, but I tend to be overly concerned about photograph postings. Hope the calender sales are going well! (And with any luck, this thread will have helped, too!) :D

My last comment on the subject: I did read the thread. Twice. I misinterpreted Reapersaurus, I warned him, and I apologized when I found out I misunderstood him. I did not close the thread. I did not ban Reapersaurus. I'm not sure I understand why you seem to be taking this so personally. And I don't have a lot of interest in groveling over the error or dwelling on the subject...

Read the thread twice and came back with a comment like (paraphrase) "Ashtal's right folks, this is no place to discuss nipples".

I'll go to emails now.

is it just me, or does it seem like T-Billy's got an axe to grind. i mean, really! it's not that big of a deal! relax man, even the people he "supposedly" snapped at are cool with it. let it go.

i think your only exacerbating the situation. no way does T-B have an axe to grind, he's about as universally liked a member here as there is. so this ain't the time to curry favor and pile-on. it's a private matter now between two highly thought of members of the community.

let it go.

Okay, enough. . .

I think this thread had outlived it usefulness. . . .

Look to email or the [META] forum for more discussion. .. anyone want to debate the viability of the bikini as a form of armor start a diffferent thread.
