If you're going to start Factotum, you should probably stay Factotum.
If you can start at 7th level or so, Chameleon is a strong choice. What's wrong with Divine Metamagic: well, everything, since you can either Quicken or Persist any Divine spell from any spell list, if you can just figure out how to boost your Charisma high enough.
One strong Chameleon prefix: Cloistered Cleric 1 / Ranger 2 / Rogue 2
- Domains (Knowledge, Planning & Undeath) -- you work for the god of lich insurance
- Free Feats: [Track, Extend Spell, Extra Turning, Rapid Shot or TWF]
- Other Feats: Able Learner, Persistent Spell, DMM (Persistent Spell)
Now you have 7 + Cha bonus Turn attempts, and you can burn 8 of them to Persist any Divine spell with the appropriate range and duration... which is quite a few Divine spells. Check the Druid, Ranger and Paladin lists, too.
- Floating Bonus Feat: lots of flexibility here. Extra Favored Enemy + the spell foebane... nice.
- At 6th level, take Practiced Spellcaster (Cleric). Now you've got caster level 5, and you can use your floating bonus feat to take Scribe Scroll, Brew Potion, Craft Wand, Craft Magic Arms & Armor, and of course Craft Wondrous Item.
Cheers, -- N
