Changing the shape of magic items

Thanks for the suggestions. I will allow it, with the caveat that, due to its permanent duration, it's still a valid target for dispelling later on. Since he's had a few targeted dispels thrown on him in his career, he may be leery of doing this with too many items. :)

So do you allow your druid players to cast Shilellagh?

Bwah-hah-hah ...

I think I'm missing the joke you're poking at me here lol...

What's wrong with Shilellagh and what I said earlier? You can't cast Shilellagh on a magical club... I'm confused :)

[edit] Oh I think I understand, you're saying that as soon as you cast Shilellagh, the club instantly becomes an invalid target for Shilellagh, and thus the spell immediately fails?

Eh, I could split hairs maybe and say that technically speaking, since Shilellagh grants a "+1 Enhancement bonus" that Shilellagh doesn't technically make the club a "magical" weapon, which would maybe work unless it's written somewhere that everything with an Enhancement bonus is automatically considered Magical. ;)

The conundrum with shillelagh is that it can only be targeted on a non-magical weapon. Once the spell is cast, it becomes a magical weapon. Since it's no longer a valid target for the spell, does the spell then fail?

A magical weapon is defined as a weapon having a +1 or greater enhancement bonus.

Targeted dispel on him will not remove the magic on his objects, you need an area dispel.

I just noticed there isn't a craft check for polymorph. Much more powerfull than the fabicate spell.
As is expected in an 8th level vs. 5th level spell.

However, Fabricate isn't subject to Dispelling or even a Disjunction (Instant duration), while PAO is (temporary to Permanent duration). Both are subject to Break Enchantment, as they are Transmutations.
